Kaag Bhagoda - Directed by - Mrs Lata Negi
Set in a village in India, the play begins with a farmer named Hariya who is troubled by birds which damage his crops. A little girl named Billo, skipping through the fields, gives him a good idea – build a scarecrow! The two of them have great fun building the scarecrow and leave him looking wonderful in the field, with instructions to frighten away all the birds.
Later, when the birds descend on the field, they find that the scarecrow cannot really do anything to hurt or harm them. When Hariya and Billo return to the fields, the birds and animals make them understand the damage that they are doing to the environment. The play ends on a happy note with Billo and Hariya promising to make the world a better place, as they sing “Hum Honge Kamyaab”.
